“Step 1 of 9: Install .Net 4.7.2 — Fail to invoke command” error when installing a gateway agent

If you encounter the “failed to invoke command” error while installing the gateway agent, it means the VertexGraph installer was not able to download Window’s .Net 4.7.2 package.

To solve this issue, you will need to first install .Net 4.7.2. You can follow this guide to install the .Net 4.7.2 framework. After the installation process, it may ask you to restart the computer.

After you restart the computer, double click on the VertexGraph agent installer file previously downloaded and go through the installation process again.
