How to set up Single Sign-on to VertexGraph with OneLogin

Enable Single Sign-On in VertexGraph

1. In the admin dashboard, click on the “User” icon on the top right

2. In the dropdown menu that gets opened up, select “Settings”

3. Click on “Configure” under “Single Sign On”

4. Turn on the toggle for “Enable SAML for Single Sign On”

Create an application in OneLogin

1. Log into One Login (https://app.onelogin.com/login)

2. Navigate to the admin panel and click on “Applications” from the navigation menu

3. Click on “Add app”

4. Search for "SAML Custom Connector (Advanced)" in the search bar and select it

5. Give it a name and optionally add the images, then click “Save”

6. Then you will be taken to the page for the application.

7. Go to VertexGraph page, and copy the link under “Access service provider meta data using the following link:”

8. Go to OneLogin, click on “Configuration” in the left column and paste the link into OneLogin’s “Audience (Entity ID)” field

9. Go to the VertexGraph page, and copy the “Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL” link

10. Go to the OneLogin page, paste the link into the “ACS (Consumer) URL Validator” and “ACS (Consumer) URL” fields

11. Click “Save”

12. Go to the SSO tab and copy the “Issuer URL”

Set up the application in VertexGraph

1. In VertexGraph, still in the single sign-on setting page, click on the "ID Provider" tab

2. Click on the “Settings” icon in the box

3. In the dropdown, select “OneLogin” and then click “Continue”

4. Paste the “Issuer URL” copied previously and click “Apply”

Test the single sign-on with a native user

1. This organization has a native user with email jwilliamson@anglechase.com in the VertexGraph software.

2. Previously, Justin has also been added to OneLogin as a user.

3. Assign the application just created to Justin

4. Now, suppose Justin goes to portal.vertexgraph.cloud, enter his email and click “Continue”

5. He will see an option “Single Sign On with OneLogin”

6. After clicking on “Single Sign On with OneLogin”, he is taken to the OneLogin page to login

7. After signing in through OneLogin, Justin is brought to the user portal inside VertexGraph
